A Light That Never Fades: Remembering Teacher Massa Queque
The community will gather to celebrate her life and enduring impact at a memorial service in August 2026. Though her departure at just 38 years old leaves a profound void, the depth of her legacy will impact generations.
In September 2013, Teacher Massa walked into Beautiful Beginnings School, stepping into what would become her life’s calling. For 13 years, she was more than just an instructor; she was a foundational pillar of the school community, especially ECD. Her service, which concluded in August 2025 as her health challenged her, was marked by patience, creativity, and a deep understanding of young minds.
To the nursery and primary learners who passed through her doors, Teacher Massa was a safe place. She understood that education was not merely about lessons in a book, but about building confidence, nurturing kindness, and ensuring every child felt seen and valued.
Her legacy lives on beautifully through here three biological children. Desmond, her eldest, Manyango, currently in Grade 2 at Beautiful Beginnings School and Ma. K, the youngest, currently in Nursery at Beautiful Beginnings School.
Rest in peace, Teacher Massa. Your lessons of kindness are stamped forever in our hearts.
